About the studio
A whole-body approach to healing
Whole Note Massage is a therapeutic massage studio dedicated to finding ways to heal a wide range of muscle irregularities, from simple trigger points to sciatic issues to headaches and tension and much else.
Through a hybrid method incorporating both Eastern and standard Western techniques, you will find relief from the stress and burdens of everyday life. Every session is shaped around what you need to regain a healthy state.

Originally from Chicago (so I know a thing or two about the blues), but a resident of the Madison area since 1989. BA in English from the University of Iowa, long-time volunteer at WORT-FM here in Madison, and a veteran of more livelihoods than I can enumerate.

- Trained at East-West Healing Arts, Madison: the 800 hour program plus 300+ hours of student clinic
East-West emphasized an integrated Eastern and Western approach across many modalities. As a result, any session can incorporate anything from Swedish massage to Thai stretching methods to hot stone therapy and more. It all depends on what you, the client, need.
When I'm not doing bodywork, I indulge my passion for music as host of All Around Jazz on Madison's community radio station, WORT 89.9 FM, Monday afternoons from 2 to 5, or anytime at wortfm.org.
